Description (Brief)
Bridge is contained in a wooden box with hinged lid, with leather carrying strap. Marked in red letters on the cover is: "Cable testing Division of IBT Company." Marked in red letters on the side is: "SO Cable Testing Div. Serial Number is 48921. Used primarily for measuring resistances, insulation resistances, locating faults by Murray or Varley loop method and for locating open circuits. Compact construction, accuracy of adjustment, light weight, ease of operation, and moderate costs made this Leeds & Northrop's most popular testing set in the years after its introduction in 1912. Unit originally sold for $90.00.
