Description (Brief)
Small Page and Dal Negro motor with mounting for a geissler tube on the armature. Tube included. A straight tube with two electrode chambers, two spheres and no external envelope. Unit mounted on wooden base. Tag: "5h-25". "578" written under base. Field is provided by pair of electromagnets with axis horizontal. Armature is iron bar on brass flywheel. Commutator is actuated by cam on axis of the flywheel with connections for rotating geissler tube. No extant maker's marks. Reference: Groenendijk Catalog, page 20, item 5h-25.
