Description
The inscription on the motor of this surgical drill reads "C. M. Sorensen Co., Inc. / Long Island City, N.Y. / volts-110A, C. & D.C. / machine No. 2895." The C. M. Sorensen Co., a firm that made apparatus for physicians, was begun by Charles M. Sorensen (1873-1926) and was in business by 1921.
