Description
The obverse of this gold medal has a standing figure, a seated figure, and “AMERICAN OTOLOGICAL SOCIETY.” The reverse has “JULIUS LEMPERT / FOR / OUTSTANDING / ACHIEVEMENT / IN / OTOLOGY / 1953.” Julius Lempert (1890-1968) was an immigrant from Poland.
