- The obverse of this bronze medal has chemical apparatus and “ALUMNI COLLEGII PHARMACEUTICI / SANCTI LUDOVICI / A.D. / MDCCCLXXV.” The reverse has “AWARDED / TO / H. M. Whelpley / FOR ATTAINING / THE HIGHEST / Proficiency / IN ALL BRANCHES / 1883.”
