Description
Patent model for Eli T. Starr, “Improvement in Articulators,” U.S. Patent 78,151 (May 19, 1868). Eli Thompson Starr (1833-1904) was a Philadelphia dentist who worked for the S. S. White Dental Co. According to one account, “The fecundity of his inventive talent is evidenced by the fact that nearly one hundred different patents were granted to him, covering nearly every department of dentistry.”
