Description
Andrew Stanford Morton (1848-1927), an ophthalmologist at University College, London, and Moorfields Eye Hospital, introduced an improved student’s ophthalmoscope in 1884. The inscription on the inside of the lid of the case of this example reads “ESTAB. 1875 / E. B. Meyrowitz INC. / LONDON-NEW YORK-PARIS.”
