Description
In 1963, Dr. Robert Hall (1928-2016), an innovative dentist in Pittsburgh, introduced a successful high-speed pneumatic drill suitable for use in oral surgery, which he termed the Surgairtome®. Hall gave this example to the Smithsonian in 1967.
