Description
Hand balance with a 6-inch iron beam with index, and deep 2.5-inch brass pans, several square brass weights, and wooden box. A hand-written label inside of the lid indicates the weight (in scruples) of various substances. This belonged to Joseph W. Moore, an 1889 graduate of the Maryland College of Pharmacy.
