Description
This is a Robervahl balance with nickel-plated pans and ivory index, mounted in a wooden box with variegated marble slab and glass cover. A brass tag in front reads “HENRY TROEMNER / MAKER, PHILADELHIA, PA. / CAP. 1 OZ. NO. 200 C.B. / MADE IN THE U.S.A.” A brass button on the front reads “PENNA & N.Y.C. APP’D – TYPE 16” and “SERIAL W2.”
