Bakelite Gear

Description:

Richard W. Seabury (1883-1970), president of the Boonton Rubber Company in Boonton, N.J., developed methods for processing and molding Bakelite. He gave this molded Bakelite and canvas gear to J. Harry DuBois and said that it dated from 1910.
