Wood block, Bird, Wisteria, and Bee. Key block, outline design for series of color block prints. Block inset into grooved wooden supports at both ends. Original artist Koga; block cutter/engraver Rokuzaemon MIYATA. with oval paper label "No. 1'. Department of Interior/260898; DGA/9432 in ink at top.
Transfer from Bureau of Education Museum, Dept. of the Interior through Anthropology, NHB, 1910. Originally from Japanese exhibition at Centennial Exposition, Philadelphia, 1876.
