Geometric Model by A. Harry Wheeler, Pentagonal Trapezoidal Dodecahedron
- Description
- The top of this cut and folded tan paper model has five poiints. Each point has four triangles arond it, two larger ones above and two smaller ones below. Beneath this is a five-pointed plane figure, with each point double. Twn triangles form this figure. One additional triangle and one trapezoid extend below each of these triangles. The bottom of the model is the image of the top, with trapezoids, triangles and stars facing in the opposite direction. Many of the polygons mentioned are coplanar.
- A typed paper tag on the model reads: DT 6. Another mark reads: June-21-1931. Another mark reads: Pentagonal (/) Trapezoidal (/) Dodecahedron (/) Fourth (/) Species (/) No. 292 (/) DT6.
- Models 1979.0102.080 and 1979.0102.138 are both marked DT6. They are not identical.
