This bound book of tables was published by the Mathematical Tables Project in New York, using the services of Columbia University Press. The volume first appeared in 1944, with this second printing in 1948. It contains tables of the Lagrangian interpolation coefficients used to approximate the value of a function by a polynomial.

This example of the publication was owned by the German- American statistician, mathematician and computer pioneer Carl Hammer (1914-2004).
