Description
Since 1897, mathematicians have met regularly to report in international developments in their discipline. The International Congress of Mathematicians is now held every four years. Ion August 3-12, 1986, the meeting was in Berkeley, California. These pamphlets give dailly reports on changes in the meeting program. It was collected by Peggy Kidwell of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, who attended the meeting with her husband, Mark Kidwell.
