The Imperial Alexander Lycee, a school for the Russian elites, opened in 181. This medal was minted in Russia in 1901 for the graduating class, during the reign of Nicholas II (1894-1917).
Obverse inscription: И / Я / Л.
Reverse inscription: LVII / 23 Mapta 1901.
