Cartographic Institute - 50th Anniversary Medal, Jeton

- This medal was commissioned in 1909, in Russia, to honor the 50th Anniversary of the A. Ilyin Cartographic Establishment. Founded in 1859, in Saint Petersburg, this was Russia's leading civilian cartography (map making) agency. This medal was presented to Grand Duke Georgiy Mikhailovich to commemorate the event.
- Obverse inscription: 1859-1909 / КОЛ. В. К. ГЕОРГІЯ МИХАИЛОВИЧА (“1859-1909 / Grand Duke Georgiy Mikhailovich”).
- Reverse inscription: КАРТОГРАФИЧЕСКОЕ ЗАВЕДЕНІЕ. А , ИЛЬИНА (“A. Ilyin Cartographic Establishment”).
