- Description
- This albarello is decorated with rich blue, yellow, and green glazes. This vessel shares similar characteristics to Albarello 1991.0664.0548. An unidentified male figure stands with a white dog at his feet in the center of a yellow oval. The man wears a tall hat, black cape, and boots and carries a staff. The iconography on the opposite side is hard to identify. It appears that armor, possibly a leg, and a quill are depicted along with a stringed musical instrument. The upper and lower shoulders are decorated with bands of acanthus leaves.
