Description:

Tureen has a flared neck and domed foot. The vessel and its mate have a deep blue glaze over a white glazed background with serpents heads for handles. A label within the escroll is marked, Ell:Hiere Pier:N: The bottom of the foot is glazed and depicts a lighthouse, the makers mark according to pharmaceutical Historian George Urdang of a well know Genovese pottery shop.
