Acoustical lantern slide owned by Paul Earls Sabine (1879-1958), a physicist with a Harvard PhD who in 1919, after teaching physics for a while, became director of the Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories in Geneva, Ill., an establishment founded by his cousin, Wallace Clement Sabine.
