Molded glass cauldron shape, white frosted glass with opening at top, white wool inserted into top of opening, then wrapped in crinkle wire overall. White and pink cloth flower attached to front, inserted into pike. Tinsel wire wrapped around whole ornament at its sides, then is wrapped around white string to form the "strap". A remnant of a wire hook is attached at the top of strap. No mark.
Holiday or Christmas ornament, comprised of a large molded glass ball and small molded glass ball, both wrapped in crinkle wire and framed in tinsel coil, with fringe of tinsel on bottom. Both balls have openings at top and bottom to allow wire to pass through the body. Top ball is small, mirrored silver, bottom ball is larger, clear glass painted matte gold-white with green and white stripes. Remnants of wire hanger attached at top. No mark.
Holiday or Christmas ornament, in the shape of a bird's nest and bird. Molded glass ornament, cauldron-shaped, frosted white glass, wrapped in and framed with crinkle wire and topped with three eggs, one pink, one yellow, one red. Eggs are possibly felted or cotton. Separate piece of crinkle wire has two additional eggs, one pink and one red, attached, with small white and pink bird attached as well. Perhaps originally the bird and eggs were on the ornament with the other eggs. No mark.
Holiday or Christmas ornament, four small blown glass balls and tinsel chenille formed into a quartrefoil shape. Balls all have an opening at top and bottom to allow wire to pass through. Balls are silvered glass, two with overcoat of gold and two with overcoat of magenta. No mark.

Clear glass painted bright pink, wrapped in crinkle tinsel wire, with small coil wire wrapped at top for hanging. Stuffed with pink tissue paper. No mark. These were generally produced in Germany prior to 1940.
Holiday or Christmas ornament, in the shape of an aerostat or hot air balloon. Free-blown glass, unsilvered, pink balloon shape at top of ornament, with smaller, milky-white balloon shape at bottom, connected by long thin tube with glossy scrap paper putti attached. Paper was likely cut from a print. The entire ornament is wrapped in crinkle wire and thin coils. Metal cap attached at top with brown string tied for hanger. No mark. A reflection of the rise in popularity of hot air ballooning in the United States and Europe during the second half of the nineteenth century. This became a standard form of ornament produced during that time, into the twentieth century.

Luster-silver, matte white painted eyes with black dots, magenta mouth with white tooth in the middle, orange hair, blue and white beanie cap with black brim turned on the side. Metal cap attached at top of cap, with bent metal loop and thin black string tied to the loop for hanging. No mark.
This ornament illustrates a character from "The Brownies", a series of publications by Canadian illustrator/author Palmer Cox (1840-1924). Published from the 1880s- early 1900s, Cox based the "Brownies" characters and stories on elements of English mythology and Scottish stories told to Cox by his grandmother. Aimed at children, "The Brownies" included illustrations with verse. The Kodak Brownie camera was named for the series.
Molded glass holiday or Christmas ornament in the shape of Santa Claus, holding an undecorated Christmas tree in his hands, resting on his left sholder. He wears a yellow-gold jacket and pants (legs cut off, bottom of ornament rounded) and yellow-gold cap, jacket and cap are both trimmed in matte white. Iridescent white face and molded long full beard, red mouth, green eyes. Metal cap attached at top of cap, with thin bent metal loop, green and white strings attached for hanging. No mark. Molds such as this were very popular, and this was a standard "Santa Claus" form. Such molds were used prior to 1940, but then reused after 1940, making it difficult to date exactly.

Holiday or Christmas ornament in the shape of a pig. Pressed cardboard, two halves put together to form each side of body, with hollow center. Floppy ears are two separate pieces adhered to head, tail is also a separate curled piece of cardboard attached to rear. The pig has a cardboard four-leafed clover in its mouth, and wears two cloth bags labelled "Dollar 5,000" and tied together with a red cord, draped on its back. The bags are stuffed with something solid. A small thin white string is looped in the pig's back for a hanger. The whole pig is in a red mesh bag tied shut with a cord. No mark.
Molded glass holiday or Christmas ornament. Mirrored red ball, hand-decorated as a Santa Claus face: white and black paper eyes, silver ball for nose, with foam mustache and red paper mouth. Top of ball is covered in mica and black sand or glitter. Cap is clear plastic, and reads: “WEST GERMANY/ D.G.M.a”. Cap was definitely made in Germany, ornament possibly as well. One of three (see DL*298065.373 and DL*298065.372).
Molded glass holiday or Christmas ornament. Thick-walled, heavy, glass ball, translucent aqua blue “crackle” glass, with “U”-shaped bent flat metal holder, painted gold, inserted into opening. Possibly had another use before being used as a Christmas ornament. No mark. "A" in a circle is marked on top in blue crayon near hanger.

No cap attached, thin metal wire loop inserted at top opening. No mark. Possibly made in Poland as it began exporting similar indented ornaments in the 1930s.

Holiday or Christmas decoration, garland, one of four identical (See DL*69.0051A, B, D). Molded and blown glass, silver star with circular indent on front and back sides, painted yellow-gold. Star is flanked on either side with alternating teal balls and long red ovoid shapes. Connected with white cotton string, with a bent metal hook on each end for hanging. No mark.
