Rashid, Director of Operations of the Antitrust Division at the Justice Department, who used this map during the US v. AT&T case that resulted in the breakup of the Bell System. Proposed regions are coded with colored pencil (pink, brown, orange, dark orange, lilac, yellow, green and red). Waterways are colored blue. Numbers are in black crayon and black felt marker. Map is mounted on a wooden framed cork board with 3 green push pins; 8 other push pins serve as markers, presumably for RBOC headquarters. Holes without pins are located at Boston, Chicago, and Austin. Two metal plates on back serve as wall mounts.
