Description
5 c.c. glass and steel syringe with a “BOSTON INST. MFG. CO.” inscription on the plunger, and “MADE IN USA” on the tube. That on the red cardboard box reads “JK RECORD SYRINGE With LUER tip / MADE IN U.S.A.” This is an American copy of the “Rekordspritze” introduced in 1906 by the Berlin instrument maker, Dewitt & Herz. The Luer tip enables a needle to be twisted and locked into place, thereby providing a secure connection.
