Two-tiered, white-painted, woven wire basket filled with polychrome wax flowers and leaves attached to wire stems, the entire display covered by a clear colorless glass dome or shade on a circular wood base lined with black velvet on three conical feet. Flowers include budding and blooming roses, dahlia, hyacinth, lilies-of-the-valley, tulip, wisteria and more. No marks. Broken pieces stored separately.
Rectangular stamp box with hinged lid featuring a plain, raised center framed by applied gadrooning and corner shells; additional gadrooning at top and bottom edges of box. Gold washed interior is divided into two equal compartments with curved bottom plate. Lid inside is struck incuse "STERLING" in sans serif letters. Underside of bottom plate struck incuse with Gorham trademark (right-facing lion passant in clipped-corner square, anchor in shield, and gothic or Old English "G" in clipped-corner square), "STERLING" in sans serif letters, "B862" in roman letters, and a date mark of a bell.
Rotary style egg beater or food mixer, molded metal housed in a glass mason jar. Mixing apparatus comprised of two two-winged bulb-shaped blades, bent sheet metal, connected with bent metal wire, attached at top to two cog wheels which enable the mixing action with the connected crankwheel when turned with attached wooden handle. Molded metal handle at top. Apparatus is attached to metal cap with screw threads to attach to top of mason jar.
Mason jar is transparent blue glass, embossed on front: "Ball/SPECIAL"; bottom of jar is embossed with the number "8", has white sticker with "403" handwritten on it. Crankwheel is debossed: "HOLT'S IMPROVED PATENTED/MADE BY/HOLT-LYON CO TARRYTOWN, N.Y. U.S.A."

Engraved in script on opposite sides of body "Virginia M\c/Kenney. / from / Grandfather and Grandmother. / McKenney / June 20\th/.. / 1900." and "Baptized, August 26\th/.. 1900. / by / The Reverend William B. Bodine D.D. / Elberon, New Jersey." Sides rounded at bottom; molded foot ring. Underside of flat bottom struck incuse with Gorham trademark (right-facing lion passant, anchor, and gothic or Old English "G", without surrounds) above "STERLING" and "A110", with a three-arrow mark to left; "1022-18" scratched above. Rounded, imitation spot-hammered or planished, rectangular case with engine-turned bands and rectangular reserve engraved "W / M / H" at top left on the spring-loaded lid. Inside back has two small tabs at bottom corners to hold matches in place. Push-tab catch at front center; hinge and jump ring at back. Inside bottom right tab is struck "W.M.CO" in raised block letters in individual surrounds above "066". Right edge inside lid is struck "PAT. A.R.T. MFG. CO." and "PAT. RE. NOV.29-1904" in incuse sans serif letters.
Patented by A.R.T. Mfg. Co. of New York, NY; firm made pieces for the retail trade, including Tiffany, Gorham and others. Maker identified as Watrous Manufacturing Co. of Wallingford, CT, 1896-present; successor to Maltby, Stevens & Co., 1890-1896, and was one of the companies that founded International Silver Co. in 1898. Not known when this mark was used; needs further research.
