Slim, rectangular box engraved overall with bright-cut, densely packed foliate scrolls and scattered flowers, interrupted only by a reserve at center of the chamfered-edge, hinged lid. Bottom underside is plain. Gold washed interior. Inside right side of collar is struck incuse with interlocked "JC" trademark, "STERLING" in sans serif letters, and "181".
Two-part mold for a wavy end or dog nose type rattail spoon; registration rabbets on both sides of handle. Finished pewter spoon is glued into the female half or reverse side of the mold; it is of three spoons cast from this mold, DL*350026A-C. No marks.
Dinner fork, with matching knife (see 1986.0531.079). Four-tined with baluster stem and “yankee” style bolster. Tines and stem are one piece of steel with tang, inserted into a yellow plastic handle with straight sides, chamfered edges, and rounded butt. Handle has slight discoloration at butt.

Greek-American industrial designer John Vassos (1898-1985) designed the "Ultra" pattern in 1934 for R. Wallace & Sons Mfg. Co. of Wallingford, CT; 1871-present. "Ultra" flatware 1989.0700.01-.06, five-piece coffee and tea service 1989.0700.07-.11, and bowl 1989.0700.12, all belonged to the Vassos family.
Partial-gilt, two-handled rectangular tray on four leaf-decorated tab feet with a cast grapevine border applied to the convex, pierced latticework rim and loop handles. Tray interior is covered with a symmetrical, baroque-style design of ruffled and leafy C scrolls amidst trailing flowers and framing diaper-patterned reserves. Tray underside is struck with a seven-light menorah in a circle along side edge. Underside of one handle has an incuse "12".

Geometric design, two-handled, covered sugar bowl comprised of alternating inverted and upright triangles for the straight tapered, octagonal body and triangles and parallelograms for the base. Conforming, eight-sided pyramidal cover is topped by an octagonal table-cut diamond finial. Angular, tapered, C-shape handles are hexagonal in section. Underside of flat bottom is struck incuse "WILCOX QUALITY" above a semicircular mark for "WILCOX S.P.CO. / INTERNATIONAL S.CO." encircling "E P N S" in individual squares; "W.M.MOUNTS" and "1981N" are stamped below. Hexagonal or six panel-sided candlestick with fixed, open rolled-edge bobeche or drip pan, urn-shaped candle cup or socket, and elongated vase-shaped stem on conforming, trumpet-shaped base with stepped edge. Base underside is struck incuse at center with a concentric circular mark for "FORBES [SILVER] PLATE CO. U.S.A." around an eagle's head erased, facing right, above "QUADRUPLE PLATE" in sans serif letters and "92"; "PEN" is scratched at right with a circled "2" marked over it in red pencil or crayon, and the roman numeral "II" is at bottom left edge. Toddy shaker or drink mixer. Heavy glass jar, molded, textured glass with a man's head embossed on front center: he wears a chef's cap with the word "TODDY" on the front. Embossed under is: "A MEAL IN A GLASS". Bottom of glass is embossed with the letter "B" and number "8", as well as a sticker with "420" handwritten on it. Jar has screw-thread in neck, with attached metal cap. Cap is blue and gold, top printed: "Add Ice/Before/Shaking/TODDY/"A Meal in a Glass"/TODDY INC./BUFFALO/N.Y." Underside of cap has sticker with "420a" handwritten on it.
