Arts and Crafts style spoon made from a single piece of sheet copper with shallow, circular, raised bowl and wide, flared handle ending in a square-cornered terminal pierced with a rectangular design of a stylized floral or leafy sprig. Plain edges. Back of handle struck with monogram of the Handicraft Guild of Minnesota.
Maker is the Handicraft Guild of Minneapolis, MN; in operation, 1904-1918 (founded in 1904; incorporated in 1905). Pierced design by Ernest Batchelder (1875-1957), who taught at the Guild, 1904-1909.
