Two-part mold for a wavy end or dog nose type rattail spoon; registration rabbets on both sides of handle. Finished pewter spoon is glued into the female half or reverse side of the mold; it is of three spoons cast from this mold, DL*350026A-C. No marks.
Two-part mold for an Old English type spoon with long pointed bowl; low-relief, interlocking diamond design on handle face; and round drop on back of bowl. Registration pin at top of terminal. Face of male half engraved "IN" and "1447 / A(?) : O" by different hands. Along with a rough cast pewter spoon made from the mold, with sprue intact at tip of bowl and flashing around all edges. Spoon is broken in half, and has been repaired at juncture of handle with bowl and lengthwise across bowl. Handle decoration crudely done; added later. No other marks on spoon.
Large French thread serving spoon with rounded oval bowl and upturned rounded handle with very slight shoulders. Back of terminal is engraved with an armorial device for the Madey family, consisting of a nine-pearl coronet above a clipped-corner coat of arms Azure (horizontal lines), with lion hanging over a plank, its tongue out. Back of shaft struck with four hallmarks, a partial outline of what appears to be a four-legged animal walking left, a crowned roman letter "H" (facing towards terminal), a crowned foliate script "A" and maker's mark including the initials "E / B \ P" (both facing towards bowl).
