All-wire combination egg lifter, slotted spoon, whisk, and beater. Dark gray wire, shaped like a large spoon: tightly coiled wire shaft, curled wire spoon bowl, with four bent movable wire prongs at end that hold a kitchen towel when closed by pulling attached wire. No mark.
Large, misshapen, elongated oval spoon with an asymmetrical ruffled shell cast on back of bowl. Turned and incised wood handle is fitted into the conical shaft, which has two shallow rings around its top. Lower half of a torn paper label affixed inside bowl is inscribed "[Ger]man spoon" in script. No marks.
Circular plate with plain, curved rim and flat well, the rim face incised with one line at perimeter and well with a pair; no foot ring. Faint, engraved script "T" at top of rim face. Underside has three touch marks arranged in a circle at center, stamped twice with a rounded rectangle containing a tree with "GFB" above and "1708" below, and once with a lion rampant, facing right, also in a rounded rectangle.
Holiday or Christmas ornament, free-blown glass ellipsoidal shape with pointed ends, mirrored silver, painted with white, gold, and blue stripes painted around body, and small opening on two thin ends. Framed with tinsel wire with loop on one side. No mark.
Single-reeded circular plate with curved rim and flat well; no foot ring. Rim face engraved "C.D.B. / 1830." at top. Underside has three touch marks arranged in a circle at center, stamped twice with an oval containing the date "1825" beneath a shield and laurel branch leaning against a fluted pedestal with undecipherable figure, and once with a faint, partial mark of a lion rampant, facing left, with line of dots to right.
Circular plate with a curved rim, its face scored twice near edge and wrigglework engraved at top ".:18 .J. D. G. 16:.". Plain, flat well; no foot ring. Underside has incised lines around outer and inner edges of rim, and two pairs inside well. Three touch marks are arranged in a circle at center of well, stamped twice with the arms of the Town of Zschopau, Germany (three towers behind a gated, stone wall) in a clipped-corner square and the conjoined script letters "CG TB / 1706(?)", also in a clipped-corner square.
Holiday or Christmas decoration, garland of molded plastic balls, orange in color, connected with white cotton string, bent metal hooks attached at either end for hanging. No mark.
"Archimedes" style eggbeater or drink mixer. Balloon-shaped mixing end, with smaller circle pattern in metal wire. Twisted shaft, with small knob-shaped wooden handle, painted green. Pushing down on the handle, the shaft and mixing end turn to create a mixing movement. Shaft is marked in cursive: "Germany".
Slotted spoon or whisk/whip. Flattened spoon shape, molded metal. Four long openings in spoon bowl. Long handle widens at end, with circular hole for hanging. Stamped with trademark on end: "SIMS _BC CO./GERMANY".
Three-tiered stand on short, flared base with bead border. Small, shallow, scalloped-rim bowl at top, shaped hexagonal piece pierced with six crescents at middle, and a large, lobed dish with flat well at bottom; tiers separated by beaded-edge spools and a baluster. Touch mark on underside of stem depicts and winged figure or angel facing left with a palm branch in one hand, the other at her hip, with the letters "H" and "B" at her feet and illegible letters in curved reserve below.
Handleless, six-lobed, inverted pear-shaped or double-bellied cup on a six-lobed circular base, the shaft consists of a cast figure of the Apollo Belvedere standing on a scallop-edged dome with a tapered column supported by three scrolled brackets on his head. Chased and repousse lobes with leaves and flowers filling the interstices. Top edge of base is struck with three partial marks, a raised serif "N" in a circle, a pinecone or pyr, and what appears to be an incuse "M".
Holiday or Christmas ornament/decoration. Honeycombed tissue paper, cardboard on sides, opens up to form a bell, red and green. Cotton string at top for hanging. No mark.
Broad-rimmed circular plate with shallow, flat well engraved with a depiction of St. Bartholomew, with rayed halo, holding a knife or small axe in his left hand and walking to the left on a mound with flowers, labeled "SPARTAEOME" at upper left; a continuous, undulating vine or stem of flowers fills rim. Rim beaded on underside; no foot ring. Underside has one incised circle around a partial, small, shield-shaped mark stamped at center with raised "Z / S" on one side and illegible motif on the other; two hearts off to one side. Small plugged hole at top of rim. Numerous cracks along inner edge of rim at booge. One of two engraved plates depicting Sts. Peter and Bartholomew, DL*311692A-B.
Plain, rectangular box with gadrooned-edge, hinged lid; both lid and box are individually stamped as one piece. Rounded tab at center front of lid. Gold washed interior. Lid struck incuse on outside front of collar at right of center with a combined crescent moon and imperial crown (Reichsmark) next to "835" and "WTB".
Bride and groom standing arm-in-arm on a tall, square pedestal base, the groom holding a derby or top hat. The groom has brown-black hair and the bride has yellow-blonde hair; both figures have ivory pink-skinned faces and hands, black dots for eyes and red-brown lips. She wears a plain, white, long-sleeved gown and holds a red and green bouquet in her left hand; no headpiece or veil. He sports a black tuxedo with cutaway coat and white bowtie. Hollow cast with hole on underside; back of base stamped incuse or incised "Germany".
Molded glass holiday or Christmas ornament. Ellipsoidal shape with indented front and back, faceted star shape, molded edges. Iridescent yellow-gold. No cap attached, thin bent metal loop inserted into top for hanging. No mark. Germany produced similar fancy molded shapes prior to 1940, and those molds were often then reused after 1940.
