Single-reeded circular plate with flat well scored around perimeter; no foot ring. Underside struck once with the tombstone-shaped, eagle touch mark of Thomas Badger, above "BOSTON" in raised serif letters in a rectangle with scrolls below. One of three plates, DL*388308A-C; A-B are identical, C is slightly smaller in size and shows wear.
Maker is Thomas Badger (1764-1826) of Boston, MA; working 1787-1815.
Two, short, identical, rounded-back blades on long, shallow S-curve arms, tapering square in section, that loop back and terminate in large, equal-size, drop-shape finger rings or loops open at top. Both blades scalloped below joint. Peened pivot with square washer on one side. Possible stamped mark on outside of one blade.
Equal-arm beam balance with a rectangular suspension clevis having a swivel hook and lower clevis with tiered drops, tapered square-section pointer topped by a ball finial, and flat, tapered arms terminating in pierced crook ends. Underside peaked at fulcrum. Overall red paint decoration, including stylized flowers or sunbursts and squiggles on both sides of arms. Beam only; no hooks or pans. No marks.
Long flat shaft, rectangular in section, tapering to a sharp point at one end and having an open, scroll-tip hanging loop at the other. No marks. One of 6 skewers with holder, DL*388274A-G.
Large, shallow, circular skimmer attached with three rivets to a slender, cylindrical handle flattened into a reverse-tapered end with counterclockwise loop; two of the rivets are hammered flat on front. Bowl is perforated with small holes arranged into four concentric circles around one hole at center; turning marks visible on front and back of bowl. No other marks.

Small, chevron or broad V-shaped pan with a punchwork-decorated cover enclosing one half of its top and a damaged handle socket riveted to one side. Cover design features five holly-leaf shapes and four pointed ovals bordered by circles. Pan is made of one piece, cut, folded and fastened by a domed rivet at front center. Cover edges are folded over pan to secure in place. No marks.

Circular name boss from an arched clock dial plate, cast and engraved across its slightly domed front "Made.By / Rich : Manning / In:Ipswich / 1751" inside a band border with wavy line. Pierced post or shank with two wire hooks is brazed at center of reverse.

Underside of well engraved "HM" in shaded serif letters separated by a cornucopia from which spring a three-petaled flower or tulip and two leafy scrolls. Possible indecipherable, obliterated marks on underside of well.
Long-handled fork with square-section shaft, twisted at center and ending in a flattened, shaped hanger with counterclockwise hanging loop having a single curl; two splayed or cyma-curved tines with rounded shoulders and pointed tabs at neck. No marks.
Rectangular, lidded pan with a vertical, metal-wrapped, wire loop handle and four feet made of metal strips at its front and back ends. Square-embossed, hinged lid has a circular ring handle at front center and curled-under edges that fit over the pan when closed. Pan is made of one piece, cut and folded, with handle and legs riveted in place. No marks.
