Four-egg cooker shaped as an inverted egg topped by a cast floral knop mounted on three vertical supports with inward-scrolling feet, inside of which is attached a truncated conical holder with central depression for a circular, single-burner, piercework spirit lamp with keyhole-shape wire handle and flat-top cylindrical cover. Cooker contains a removable wire caddy or lifter with four rings in circular frame and central shaft handle formed from four scrolled supports. Holder underside is stamped incuse with a curvilinear shield containing "ROGERS, SMITH (arched) / - & C\o - / NEW HAVEN (curved) / CONN." with "4" and "01" above and below.
French thread serving spoon having a large, pointed oval bowl and long, upturned fiddle handle with shallow concave shoulders double struck (pattern on front and back) with a tipped thread border; gothic or Old English "E" engraved lengthwise on terminal back. Back of shaft struck with six marks (most, if not all, facing terminal): left-facing dog or boar head; six-legged winged bug or insect; illegible looped letter or motif; imperial crowned "A"; another illegible mark; and maker's mark with only first initial "G" visible.
