Back of shaft struck with three marks (all facing terminal): a rising sun above "P / L \ B" in diamond or lozenge; crowing cock with body facing right and "1" at lower right in clipped-corner vertical rectangle; and classical male head affronté flanked by "85" in oval. One of two spoons, DL.300475A-B, with same monogram but by different makers.

Circular stand with tall bracket handle segmented along its bow and fixed at bottom to a conical ring on four, ribbed, conical feet with round bottoms. Small hanging hook for tongs is attached at one side of handle and scroll bracket supports inside at bottom ends. Underside of frame struck incuse "TAUNTON. / SILVER PLATE CO." in serif letters, "BARBOUR BROS. / SILVER / QUADRUPLE." in sans serif letters inside a circle, and "116"; "BARBOUR BROS." mark is overstruck with a sawtooth or zig-zag line. Six-piece set consisting of a stand with central, ogival-arched handle on cyma-molded circular base that is fitted near its midshaft with a revolving frame of 5 large and 4 small rings that holds 5 matching, octagonal, clear, colorless glass bottles (2 cruets with faceted square stoppers, 1 caster with screw-on, perforated conical cap, and 2 mustard or condiment jars with hinged conical lids having utensil cutouts). All 5 bottles are mold-blown and wheel-engraved, the taller cruets and caster have faceted necks. Struck once on bottom underside of stand "I. TRASK" in raised serif letters in a rectangle. Bottles not marked.
Consists of a two-handled, wide-rimmed, circular bowl or dish on straight tapered foot ring with butter knife holder attached to body, a domed cover topped by a cast finial, and a removable, crosslet-pierced liner inside. Bottom edge of cover and foot ring have matching die-stamped bands featuring rectangular panels of flowers. Dish is struck incuse on underside of its flat bottom with circular mark for "SIMPSON, HALL, MILLER & CO / +" encircling "TREBLE / PLATE" at center; "38" stamped above. Cover and liner are not marked. No butter knife.
