The handkerchief was printed in England and features portraits of Confederate president Jefferson Davis, General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, General Joseph Johnston, General John Hunt Morgan, diplomat John Slidell, General Pierre Gustave Toutant-Beauregard, Navy officer Raphael Semmes, General Robert E. Lee, and diplomat James Murray Mason.
