Hardback manual, light purple with gold embossed title "Drill Regulations of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America." This book belonged to William Gerard Dixon, a member of Tancred Commandery No. 50 in Belleville, Illinois. The Knights Templar is a fraternal organization related to Freemasonry (called an "appendant body").
Girl Scout "Sash." Khaki twill homemade (not official) sash with three snap closures, which pre-dates official Girl Scout uniform sashes. Attached are twenty nine proficiency badges, four membership star pins, Girl Scout Trefoil Membership pin, 1923-1934 (7 stars/worn), Golden Eaglet pin, 10k gold, engraved with "Louise Davis/1930," First Class Rank 1920-1925 and Second Class Rank 1920 Emblem.
