The Miniature World of Faith Bradford

Drawing Room

The mahogany furniture in this room has come down through several generations of the Doll family. Woodthrop, the parlor maid, is finishing her dusting for the day.

This room contains more inherited furniture, notably the breakfronts and the Winthrop desk. It is a real library with real books, comfortable chairs, and a convenient reading light.

Mr. Doll's Study

The study, where we find Peter Doll, is his special domain. His personal books rest in the breakfront, and on his desk is today’s paper and a typewriter ready for use.

The parlor is used for informal family gatherings. The furnishings are reminiscent of the Victorian style of interior decoration.
