The guest room is temporarily occupied by Grandfather and Grandmother Doll. The room is furnished with beautiful inherited furniture dating from the Colonial Period.

In a family the size of the Dolls, a great amount of sewing is necessary. Mrs. Doll has a sewing woman in for a fortnight, spring and fall, and between times, she takes care of making and mending.

Here we see one convenient feature that the guest bathroom lacks—a shaving stand.
