Jamestown, Québec, Santa Fe: Three North American Beginnings

This exhibition, co-organized by the National Museum of American History and the Virginia Historical Society (VHS), told the story of dramatic twists of fate, strategic alliances, and violent conflict between mighty European empires (English, Spanish, French) and the Native people living in North America. The exhibition was presented in three languages and with multiple perspectives. Artifacts included rare surviving Native and European artifacts, maps, documents, and ceremonial objects from museums and royal collections on both sides of the Atlantic. The exhibition traveled to five venues between 2007-2009.
Esta exhibición, organizada por el Museo Nacional de Historia Americana y la Asociación Histórica de Virginia, cuenta la historia del dramático cambio en el destino, las alianzas estratégicas, y el conflicto violento entre los poderosos imperios europeos (Británico, Español y Francés) y la gente Nativa que vivían en Norte América.
