On March 19, 2019, the National Museum of American history hosted its fourth annual symposium, The Power of Giving: Philanthropy’s Impact on American Life. Programming focused on the Initiative’s annual theme: philanthropy’s impact on health and medicine. Featured speakers included, Dr. William Foege, Leonard A. Lauder, Abbe Raven, Dr. Larry Norton, Amy Robach, David M. Rubenstein, Lyda Hill, Marilyn Hawrys Simons, Dagmar Dolby, Dr. Howard Fillit, and Steve McCarroll.
