Research Specialties:
My research interests focus on extreme and non-traditional sports including, but not limited to snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, sled dog racing, adaptive sports, the Olympics and the Paralympics. I also study the role of children in sports and the impact their participation has on America’s cultural identity.
