Down town, lunch at Rathskeller, call on Jas. W. Beekman jr 61 Liberty str. also on Leroy & Co. Water str. relative to acquiring Docks, also at Chas. E. Strong, receive Cable Despatches from Tretbar Braunschweig & Schiedmayer Stuttgart. Theo & wife spend eveg with me & takes supper, we draw up Cable despatches to Tretbar, Schiedmayer and Franz Abt |

Send the three Cablegrams, am excessively busy, at 1 P.M. at Office of Charles E. Strong close loan of $60.000. at 5 pr. Cent for 3 years based on the $105.000. Seven Mortgages on plot cor. 52d & 4th Aves Attend Comittee Meeting (Executive) at Grahams Office 25 Wall str. Resolve to give up Room at German Savings Bank. To Astoria at 4.40. via 23d street. Play Whist lose 35 Cents. |

Warm beautiful day. At factory in the morning, at Rikers in the afternoon. Theodore & wife there. Play Skat with Dulcken who plays badly lose 13 Cents Last night this Season at Astoria. Cable Despatch from Tretbar "Perret zeichnete" |
