To town early via L Road, stop at factory being driven there by Stein. Noticed yesterday that George is getting to be quite a young man. D. P. Faulds in town. To Rathskeller lunch with Ottendorfer to Van Santvoord & Hauff, Theodors Patent of adjusting device for striking distance, being granted. Telegram from Theodor: Reise Neckar zwölften September Luther Plan gut" In eveg at 6 P.M. with Fred Steins look at John Mahons two new Uprights, then to L.K. where we dine sing, preside, home at 12½ AM by cars |

Take shower bath, lovely cool day. Business improving, at 12 oclock to Fuller's office make appointment with Fuller to meet Hale and me at my house friday night, eat a hasty lunch at Fulton market, to Astoria by 1.15 P.M. Morrisania boat, look at Harris work in Sargent stable, stop at factory give McBride Contract for Engine & boiler house at $2000. Take splendid swimbath, draw up Lizzie Cassebeers will;, play 66 with Schmidt & H. Cassebeer, win |

To town via L. Road, C. Meiners calls no word from Cotterill yet, Sign Liederkranz Contract for Summer¬nights festival. Lunch with H. St. at U. Sq. Hotel. Large family picture from Sarony stored in an upper room of my house. To Fulton Ferry via 4th Ave. & L Road, by boat to Astoria, take fine swimbath, play 66 in eveg with Henry C. & C. Schmidt |
