My family moved to Astoria yesterday meet Joseffy at my house & with Tretbar arrange matters for next season with him. I go to Astoria + sleep there first time this season George's 15th birthday |

Excessively busy. A. B. Thayer, the Biographer of Beethoven calls, show him our Beethoven picture (in which George shot a number of holes) and lunch with him at U. Sq. Hotel. In eve'g, at Wilsons Flushing Avenue Astoria, but members not having been properly notified, no meeting takes place, and one is appointed for Wed. eve'g. Play Skat with H. & Ch. St. lose 17 Cts |

Rain during last night, lovely day, in forenoon have headache & little touch in right collarbone. Mrs. Ida Lohmann with her children, and Fred. Steins and his daughter, + Eddy Egge there. Play Skat in afternoon with H. A. Cassebeer & Ch. St. lose 30 Cts | |

Lovely day but warmer, to town at 9 A.M. Papers full of the strike at J. P. Hale's factory, mass meeting of the piano men at Wendells Hall yesterday. Have conference in eve'g with Luther, Henry Z. and H. + C. St. make sawing order +c. In afternoon at Continental Ins. Co Vandewater, by boat from Peck Slip to Astoria |

Vandyke reference postponed, lunch at Schedlers, Chambers str. Work like a beaver til 10 P.M. at Store, then to L.K. home at 11½ PM. | |

Introduce Chas. H. St. to Pacific, Chatham, and German American Bank, for signature, give him power of Attny then order Shirts and collars of Sachse, Broadway. By boat from 23d str. to Astoria. Flushing Ave. Com. Meeting at Wilsons in eveg. Organize. On returning find Dulcken, play Skat win 50 Cts |
