Theo. cables "Will be coming month London, No Scandal Trechmann Hanslik and wife boards No 17" Saml Franko sails "Alaska" for London. At L.K. in ev'g, Preside Seminar Com. afterwards L.K. Milwaukee affair discussed, despatch recd from H. M. Mendel, resolution 46 agt 26 declines to participate. Remain til 1 A.M. Blasenpeters, Hans Heyne, Geo. Varrelmann + bro. being there |

Franz Rummel sailed pr. steamer Ems early this morning, was at L.K. last night, cabled his departure to Hamburg. Theodore cables "Fritz better, flange like N. Down town at noon, miss Ottendorfer, see Judge Van Brunt, write Governor on the Excise bus. and other matters. Home in eve'g working | |

Lovely day. At noon to Astoria, see Menzl, mansion looks lovely, bridge on Riker Ave. built across creek, Douglas place looks lovely, we open first keg of beer. Drive Shore road to 92d str. Ferry. At L.K. Veteranen Abend, about 70 there. Dr. Ludwigs acc. from Jan 15/47 to 1880 read. Very merry evening |
