A Birthday to Remember

Last year was my 60th birthday, and as it was a milestone my daughter and friends threw me a special birthday. It was at my house and I was taken out shopping and when I came back my little house with about 500 square feet was full, even the porch. This year, as my birthday is at Thanksgiving I thought I was probably out of luck. Instead, three of those friends showed up and we sat on the porch, wrapped up in blankets against the cold, and drank hot drinks. While the milestone birthday was memorable, this covid birthday has it beat!
