Daily life changed

More than anything the pandemic showed me how lucky I am. We created a family pod so we didn’t suffer loneliness. Because I’m lucky enough to live in a nice area I was able to exercise outside every day. The fact that we have Sligo Creek is incredible. It turned out to be a time of incredible hardship for many people and the fact that we had a lack of credible leadership caused immense difficulty for many Americans. I became a monitor for Zoom school for my great granddaughter—at 77 I didn’t think I’d be having a new career. The ones who really suffer are the low income children. The lack of routine is really the most jarring. I’ve definitely cleaned my house in a way I never have before.
