Historic Moment from a New York Apartment

A photo I took to remember a moment, January 20 , 2021. My boyfriend's roommate's kitchen, overlooking The Bronx and, I'm confident, Manhattan's loudest parking lot next to the East River below. I lost my apartment this year because as a musician it was impossible to support myself in COVID-times. But friends have become family, family has been everything, and among broader revelations like the discovery of patience, I also learned to cook at 31 years old.
