The New Normal

Dread. Empty streets. Neighbors and friends avoiding each other while wearing masks. Businesses closed and schools on-line. Crying every day, every single day for thousands of people who should still be here. No comfort. A castrophy that could have been avoided. 2020? We are too modern, too knowledgeable, if we can put a rover on Mars, we should Not be experiencing a health crisis in every single part of the globe. Castrophies should bring us together- we were all together in this even though we had to isolate and be far away from each other physically.

I pray that 2020 Never Ever happens again, that we will be ready next time.

But for those millions around the globe who died who should still be here ,there will be no next time. I'm crying as I write this.
