Anxious Moments with Our Cat

As I drove onto Ft. Belvoir Army Post September 11, I noticed that there were a lot of military vehicles lining the roads and wondered what was happening. I was on the way to the vet with our cat. When I arrived at the vet, I asked what had happened and was told that a plane had crashed into one of the World Trade Towers in NYC. Before we left the vet office, another plane had crashed into the other tower. As I left and started down the road to exit the base, I saw more military vehicles and wondered if Katy Puss and I would have to spend the night on the post. Fortunately, the main gate was still open and we could make it home.
