From Construction to Destruction
In early 1967 I attended the Germaine School of Photography in the basement of the Transportation Building in New York City and one of our assignments was to photograph the early stages of the construction of the World Trade Center and interview the workers at the site. They explained some of the cutting-edge technology being used there. It was awe inspiring, and never did any of us imagine that we would outlive that amazing building.
