A More Meaningful Wedding

We got married on 9/16/2001, five days after 9/11. Many of those who were flying in for the wedding couldn't make it, because planes were still not flying. Those who were there laughed and cried and said how wonderful it was to have something so poignant to celebrate. In many ways, more than a typical wedding, it was a celebration of life and traditions and being with people that loved and cared about each other. Twenty years later and we still hear from people who had been able to attend talk about how meaningful that day was for them.
