Clear beautiful day, my left Elbow yesterday & today shows slight traces of Rheumatism, take Blairs pills, lunch at Gerth's. My family moves from Astoria to New York today, take dinner at 6 P.M. Bam, baby & Hettie & Ella, & Louisa & Rieke at Table, Mrs. Evers being unwell. I go to L.K. preside. Home at 11 PM |

Warm beautiful day. Louisa and her children & Riekchen move into 125 E. 52d street. Down at Rathskeller, at Surrogates Office, set inventory of Albert at 4 P.M. October 11th at Steinway Hall, obtain order to advertise for claims agt Estate of Henry Steinway sen. in World & Daily Register at Cotterills, leave Ely -- Womens College papers with him, call on Knauth Nachod & Kühne, stop at 83 Cedar str. Internal Revenue matter of old estates. explain to them, that it was paid in 1865. New fire escapes to Steinway Hall are finished today. At home in eveg. H. St. Theodore & Louise Cassebeer there. Bam sleeping up stairs. |
